About the Conference
The Conference Microfinance in Russia: New Technologies of Success will facilitate a discussion of acute problems relevant to the building of an all-inclusive financial system, increasing access to financial services, and promoting microfinance institutions to support SME development and low – income population.
The discussions will focus on the development and acceptance of the new technology of delivering microfinance services, the correlation between regulation and market development, the search for feasible model of supervision and efforts to remove administrative barriers to the development of MFI, on protection of consumers and market participants from financially unstable institutions, and on financial literacy.
Traditionally, the Conference agenda will consist of plenaries, discussions, training sessions, and free debates. This year, the Investor Fair will allow institutions to approach investors in the best possible environment for one-on-one negotiations. The Conference will also feature master classes led by the microfinance community leaders, round tables with representatives of government, training events for regional networks and brainstorming sessions for MFI. The Conference emphasizes informal contacts, so you will be offered every opportunity for networking throughout the Conference.
